First and foremost, they simply look amazing with the distinct rubberised V to the sides and a fantastic choice of colourways. Hey guys, it's Sam here from Michael Stewart Menswear and today we're going to take a look at 2 new pairs of the Veja Rio Branco trainer, have a little look at the colourways and let me tell you a little bit more about them. So, first and foremost I recommend you read this when you buy a pair. It's a really interesting piece of literature, tells you all about where the trainers are from, how they are sustainably sourced, the materials they're made out of, bit of history of the brand as well as a little peek at some of the other styles that we stock too.
So the first colourway we're going to look at here is the black/oxford grey and white. This is a really, really smart trainer, it's going to wear really easily into pretty much any outfit you can throw at it. I absolutely adore that pop of white to the Veja logo on the heel there as well as on the rubberised 'V' and I think that, sort of off-white sole really gives it a nice vintage feel as well so, these trainers, you know, they're a great point of difference and you know, they're a nice choice to pick when you're wanting to go for something possibly a little bit different and not stick with your regular trainer brands as well. So Veja is a French brand, everything is made in Brazil using sustainable materials, they're a really interesting brand and if you've not heard of them, I think you should probably look into them a little bit more and find out about them. They are really exciting and some of the styles are, you know, really stunning, especially these ones...wow! So this is again the Rio Branco in paros/auro. I'm not a foreign languages guy, let's just say that translates to blue and yellow as they are...blue and yellow. Again, nice pop of colour, off-white sole for that vintage feel and I'm sure some Leeds fans will be enjoying these, you know, that colourway is pretty iconic and a great statement piece in your wardrobe.
