Hi guys, it's Sam here from Michael Stewart Menswear and today we're going to take a closer look at the BOSS Paddy Polo shirt. We're going to give you a little bit of a review, and we're going to tell you about the fit, the features and everything you need to know about this wardrobe essential.
The Background of the Boss Paddy Polo
The Paddy Polo sits within the BOSS Green collection, which is BOSS's sportier, more athleisure line. It's very casual, and kind of takes a lot of influence from their old-school golfing styles, so it's really easy to understand what you're going to get.
You're going to get a quality polo shirt that has a nice sporty influence, super casual. It is a great weekend piece, and yeah, let's take a little closer look at it and let me tell you about some of those features.
So the Paddy is constructed from a 100% cotton pique, it's got a lovely weave, and a lovely texture to it, it really is that classic polo shirt look and style. It's a regular fit so dead easy to wear, we always recommend taking your usual size in this one.
The Boss Paddy Polo Features
In terms of features, it's just got some nice branding and details that set it apart from other polo shirts. You've got the embroidered BOSS logo to the left breast, now that's the new BOSS logo, they changed that a couple of seasons ago, so it's worth taking note it is the new version of their logo, but it is embroidered on there.
You've also got a nice tipping detail to the collar and the cuff and that same detail runs down the inner placket. And lastly, they've got some more hidden features as well. It's got a nice collar, underneath there you've got a BOSS branding and contrast colour to it so just a little point of difference if you like to wear it with your collar up or it just gives a little pique of something different, again sets it apart and makes it that little bit more special.

The Paddy is an iconic piece in BOSS's collection, it has been here season after season for as long as I can remember anyways and year after year it comes back in some exciting new colourways. Of course, you've always got your classics, so the bit more plain, subdued colours, but they always like to bring in something with a brighter punch of colour or possibly incorporate in the tipping their sort of the colour of the season.
I've got a few examples - here of the bright blue and the white, and I'm wearing the dark blue with their seasonal teal colour tipping on there as well. So they always mix it up season after season, but you're always going to get the same fit, the same quality and the same polo shirt just in a nice new look.
